Oak Leaves Salt Cellar and Spoon

This is a small one handled footed bowl, with a matching spoon. It began as a flat sheet of sterling silver which was cut into a circle and then hammered into a depression in a wood block. The base is a flared cone shape, which was soldered on. This piece is one of a kind.  It could be used as an alter, Medieval salt cellar and spoon, or an incense bowl.
