14th Century Style Initial Pins

Based on an embroidered altar cloth of the 14th century, this is a selection of of the initials. These elegant pin was pierced cut by hand.

 

14th Century Style Lozenge Pin 14th Century Lozenge Pin in Sterling Silver Set with Pearls, Amethyst and Garnet
This is actually a variation of the ring brooch. Its lozenge (diamond) shaped set with pearls on the tips, amethyst and garnet stones at the center. The base of the pin is forged from sterling silver square wire, which is cut and soldered at the points.  It's about 3 1/2" long. It could be made with matching stones or real pearls. The price for this would depend on stone's or pearl's size and quality.

 

Luckenbooth Pin Medieval Scottish design Luckenbooth Pin

The name originates from the alocked booths of Medieval jewelers in Scotland, where the ancestors of this piece came from. It symbolized marriage or an engagement by its intertwined hearts, topped by the crown of Love. Carved in wax and cast into sterling silver, set with a lapis lazuli cabochon stone.

This pin comes with a choice of garnet, amethyst or moonstone. In sterling or in vermeil.
