The Posey
was carved directly in the wax and they were carved to size (so there are
no seams to break) then cast in 14K gold. His says: "Tu et nemo alius",
and hers says "Tu et nemo alia". In Latin, it means, "you and no other",
each addressed to the wearer.
Hand

in wax, then cast into 14K gold and sterling silver.
These wedding
rings, carved in wax and cast into white gold, have a 'posy' engraved
in blackletter calligraphy. The posy on these rings is in Medieval French
and says: 'You and no other'. Similar sentiments graced many rings from
the Middle Ages up through the Victorian era.
I have a list of over 200 sayings, from Medieval, Renaissance and Victorian periods which were used on rings of this type. Price depends on size, width of ring, material and difficulty of engraving. Can be made in gold or sterling.
