A group of roses form the bottom band, a spray of laurel leaves, sprinkled with pigeon blood rubies. Chased and repoussèd strawberry leaves, set with a faceted ruby (over 70 tcw of rubies on the coronet) and each leaf is stitched with freshwater pearls (over 300).

Based on paintings of Queen Elizabeth's coronets, and coronets of the Renaissance. The base is formed from a laurel wreath, with small upright pearls in each castellation and the chased and repoussèd Tudor style roses in the castellations. It was then gold plated, and set with genuine garnets. The freshwater pearls were sewn on with gold filled wire along the upper edge. Graciously modeled here by Her Grace, Mistress Isabella of York, for whom this County coronet, the Ducal Rose and the Laurel Wreath/Rose coronet were all made.

The base of the coronet is a laurel wreath, each leaf is cut, etched, formed, riveted and soldered onto a solid base. The upper portion of the coronet is formed of wire, and topped with a two-layer flower each with a square faceted garnet in its center. The entire coronet has been plated with 18K gold

Made from a base of brass, the leaves are cut, sculpted separately, then riveted. Each setting was riveted on separately, and soldered in place, then the entire piece was plated in 18K gold, set with glass stones.

Both this and Duchess Marieke's coronet are early period coronets - 12th century. Plated in 18K gold, set with glass stones.
